Through the injector effect, most of the water, which passes through the suction chamber at high velocity, creates a negative pressure which draws in the foam liquid. The residual water, whose quantity depends on the difference between inlet- and outlet pressure, passes via a strainer through the automatic control valve.
In this way, the max. pressure loss of 38 % required by the standard is maintained in the inductor.
